Meryem Aydin

Meryem Aydin came to the United States from Turkey in 2016 and enrolled in Delaware Tech's English as a Second Langu年龄 (ESL) program. "Coming to college was the best way for me to improve myself intellectually." Most of Meryem's relatives graduated from Delaware Tech and found jobs in their respective fields, so she knew she was making a smart choice.

When she first came to America, Meryem found it hard to communicate with others. The ESL program helped her tremendously. "I was able to communicate with people and find a job. My English is getting better every day." After graduating from the ESL program, Meryem enrolled in the information technology & networking program because she has always wanted to learn programming.

Meryem feels much more confident since coming to the College. She advises students to focus not only on their grades, but on the knowledge they are obtaining.

After graduating from Delaware Tech, Meryem would like to pursue a bachelor's degree and work as a mobile game developer.
